Donna is a:
    - FL Supreme Court Certified Circuit-Civil Mediator;
    - FL Supreme Court Certified Appellate Mediator;
    - Family Mediator; and
    - Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator.
 Donna has also completed the Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation (RMFM) Training.

As a mediator and arbitrator, Donna brings to the table a uniquely blended perspective as experienced commercial litigator, appellate attorney, and former certified public accountant.  She has handled a wide variety of real estate and other contract disputes, employment litigation, insurance coverage disputes and bad faith, and trademark and copyright litigation.  Donna has represented clients in state and federal proceedings, in the trial court and on appeal.
  
After graduating at the top of her law school class from Nova Southeastern University, Donna clerked for Florida Supreme Court Justice Barbara Pariente, who was then a judge at the Fourth District Court of Appeal.  Following her clerkship, Donna was with the national law firm of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge for twelve years.  Most recently, Donna was a partner with a boutique litigation firm.

Before becoming a lawyer, Donna was a CPA with an MBA in Finance.  After working for Price Waterhouse in New York City, she  became a Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting for Penn Central Corporation. After moving to Florida in 1987, Donna became an Assistant Vice President/Manager of Financial Reporting for Intercontinental Bank in Miami, and then performed financial systems analysis for American Express before entering law school.

Donna has been recognized with several awards for her pro bono work and has been a leader in various professional organizations.  Donna has published numerous articles, given presentations, and participated in panel discussions concerning various business-related areas of the law. Donna also taught Accounting for Lawyers as an adjunct professor for Shepard Broad Law Center at NovaSoutheastern University.
